Season 1.5 families

GAWD FINALLY. SOME PICTURES AND INFO ON META KNIGHT AND CHUVA'S PARENTS. TOOK ME LONG ENOUGH.

I didn't want either of them to look "just like" one of their parents. In fact, some of their traits (unusually small size, yellow eyes) were supposed to have origins that were a complete mystery. In Meta's case, he was a puffball born to...uh...a cappy and whatever the heck Gamma's species is. But there are, of course, some similar features there.

Name: Metus
Occupation: Mayor
Status: Deceased
Info: Born and raised in Ulu Village, Metus's genuinely charming and gentlemanly personality, along with his talent of solving other people's problems, made him a natural candidate for mayor. As a young man, he was very sociable and knew almost everyone in the village; as the mayor, he made it his business to personally know every citizen of the town. Never one to play with love, he married a woman whom he had known since he was ten years old. He had been hoping to have a first-born son who would take over his position as mayor, but after recieving the Prophecy of the Star Children in a dream, he was even more excited when his first child turned out to be one of the legendary warriors. He was always regarded by his family as a fair and temperate husband and father, and was very enthusiastic about his son's training; unfortunately, he died shortly after Meta's seventh birthday of unknown causes. His position was resumed by an alluring foreigner named Bruno.

Name: Gamma
Occupation: Mayor's wife
Status: Deceased
Info:: Gamma was the youngest of four girls. While all of her sisters left home as soon as possible and scattered into different countries, never visiting, she was apalled by the thought of leaving. She wanted to live her life in Ulu Village, but more importantly, she wanted to have a good husband and a child. Upon becoming the mayor's wife, she tried her hardest to maintain a respectable impression, and also to socialize more than she previously had. Since she had grown up seeing her parents' diverted attention towards her and her multiple siblings, she decided to only have one child, whom she could watch grow up to the fullest. The fact that her first and only son was a Star Child did nothing to reduce her love for him. After her husband's death, she went through a period of depression, guessing that her son would also be taken from her soon. Unfortunately, she was right, and a few months later demon beasts arrived in the village. Meta was put into hibernation; she died during the attack.

Name: Hiro
Occupation: Craftsman/handyman
Status: Deceased
Info: When he was sixteen, Hiro left his country and settled down in Ulu Village. He'd had a bad relationship with his parents and never spoke about them. He was a very technical person, good with his hands, and had decided to set up a business for himself in a small town. A couple of years later, he married an artistic woman who became his partner and mastered some of the more creative works of the trade. He and his wife had been planning to have many children to teach and pass the business down to; unfortunately, after learning that their first-born daughter was a Star Child, his wife refused to mother any more children. His biggest flaw being that he allowed her to be the dominant voice in their relationship, he reluctantly agreed. He died in the demon beast attack.

Name: Saki
Occupation: Artist/craftswoman
Staus: Deceased
Info: Saki was an only child, a bit spoiled, and very artistic. As a teenager, she was very beautiful and flirtatious, known for courting almost every eligible man in the village. She finally settled down, however, with a foreigner, hoping to establish that she could run a business as well as any man. Though originally desiring to have many children whom she could teach the arts to, her first daughter wound up being a Star Child. Knowing that the girl who she loved so much would be stolen from her at a very early age, and also that her life might very well end at that time, Saki swore never to mother another child. Her protectiveness towards Chuva often erupted into anger, the worst of which occurred shortly after the death of the mayor. The result was that, though she wanted to be a good mother, her daughter was left with nothing but bad memories of her family. Saki died in the demon beasts' attack on the village.
