While I was watching Kung Fu Panda 2 in glorious HD, I was inspired to draw Shen looking badass. I might do some of my other favorite characters, too.

I know this has flaws, but I'm pretty happy with it.

I really like this piece. To me it comes across as almost brooding. Like he's in serious doubt about his next move, but he does, with weapon in hand look badass as well. I just feel like there's darkness to this piece-I guess, like behind his badass persona, we're getting a glimpse at the very insecure and troubled person he is, if that makes sense.
